Abstracts

Submission of Abstracts

The Organising Committee invites submission of abstracts to be considered for oral presentation. Authors are requested to follow the instructions clearly.

Abstract Format

Maximum of 250 words in MS Word. Page set up with A4 margins, top, bottom, font: Arial 10pt.

The abstract must be submitted under the following headlines:
Title
Authors
Affiliation
Presenter Name
Email address
Cellphone number

The text should be structured as follows:
Objectives
Method
Results
Conclusions

Abstract submission deadline 27 May 2011
Acceptance notifications will be sent on 15 June

Abstracts must be emailed in the above format to: Alexia.Michaelides@netcare.co.za by 27 May 2011 latest.

Acceptance

Abstracts will be reviewed by the Scientific Committee who reserves the right to accept or reject abstracts for presentation. Authors will be notified by 15 June if their abstract has been accepted.
All presenters of accepted abstracts must be registered as congress delegates.

Note:	All visuals shown must have informed consent.
	Speakers must declare conflict of interest before starting their presentations.

Publication

Accepted abstracts will be published in the South African Medical Journal
